Ministry of Economic Affairs, the no.144 times guidance conference for certified 20 items SME R & D Program of SBIR(Small Business Innovation Research)

Ministry of Economic Affairs(MOEA) recently held a "Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR, Small Business Innovation Research)" no.144 times guidance conference, passed the scrutiny for PRAISE MACHINERY CORP., Hong Integration Ltd., GOLDEN MOON CO., LTD., TAI CHIN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO., LTD., Sun Beam Tech Industrial Co., Ltd., NETXTREAM TECHNOLOGIES, INC.,TrustView Inc., PLeader-YAMAICHI Co., Ltd., HONYE AUTOMATION CO. LTD., ARCS PRECISION TECHNOLOGY CO ., LTD., NatureWise Biotech & Medicals Corporation, Group Up Industrial Co., Ltd., Yeong Shiuann Co., Ltd., ASIA AQUA TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD., Chang-Yu Joining Tech. Co.,Ltd., EUMA-SPINNER CORPORATION, MYWISH Information Corp., EVERMORE TECHNOLOGY,INC., Gelie Chemical Co., Ltd, Wu Jii Industry Company, Ltd., SHING-SHING METAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.…etc. 20 items innovation and R&D programs proposed by SME to proceed innovative technology / service development. It will be able to produce significantly enhance the effect of R & D capabilities of domestic SMEs. Considerations of the plan which are more representative are as below:

PRAISE MACHINERY CORP. proposed " Orbit large crankshaft grinding technology development plan", to develop the X-axis high-speed feed system of wheel head which is combined linear motor drive with hydrostatic guide way for the large Orbit crankshaft grinder. With synchronous drive of dual-direct DD-Motor drive of C-axis rotation of the work-piece, and further use the multi-axis dynamic CNC control program that can be controlled to precede high precision of orbit grinding action. In addition to leading the industry level in domestic, it could also lead domestic machinery industry towards the development of high-priced processing machinery for further enhance industrial competitiveness.

MOEA expected to encourage and assist SMEs to undertake innovative R & D actively by executing the SBIR program, make SMEs could be sustainable growth. Moreover, through R & D achievement, it establishes a complete industrial system, and further to promote Taiwanese economic development in the future. SBIR, this program had started since in February 1999, it had accumulated total amount of 3,408 innovation & development programs to be executed. Government subsidized for more than NT $7.1 billion dollars, and promote SMEs to invest over NT $13.3 billion dollars. It will be much helpful for domestic SMEs to improve the technical level, enhance the competitiveness of our industry, and upgrading of traditional industries.
